My name is Claudia Gates-Jones, at least that’s what it was for the first half of my life. I’m the daughter of Simon Pietrovich ( ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} simonarchangel )and Muriel Gates. I was raised by my mother and my step-father, Sam Jones. We lived all over Europe and the Middle East until Sam got sick and we moved back to America. Mother was the daughter of an Old Money archeologist and Sam was his protégé. Sam actually helped to deliver me and he married Mother soon after that. I have two half brothers, Benjamin (Skippy) and Sam Jr. (Scooter) who are absolutely adorable and crazy to boot. We formed the Jones family Parkour team, and we’ve won a couple of competitions. Like my stepfather and grandfather before me, I’m working on my doctorate in linguistics and archeology. I speak English, Russian, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Romanian, Latin, and Greek. I spent some time doing an internship studying some of the Quipu knots in Peru. I recently met my biological father, Simon and have moved near him. See he’s a wizard and apparently I’m one too. So I moved near him in order to be properly trained as one. |

| Dia (as she prefers to be called) has moved near her father to be trained as a wizard properly while she finishes her dissertation. Her father’s fiancée Carolina (angel_undrcover) is also helping to train her. During her training period, she met Stephen Lamarck (delamarck) and was invited to his and his wife’s bed. Through them, she met Max Parker (fast_max ). They quickly became lovers and she eventually married him. |
